Solar Boat

This trimaran (or monohull with stabilizers), which bears a certain resemblance to the Komorebi 138, is the result of a commission by an American owner who wanted a solar-powered cruising boat that is fully autonomous in terms of energy.

VPLP offered up this concept which features a spacious living area on the main deck and a vast surface area for installing solar panels. Additional propulsion is supplied by two Oceanwings to enhance performance and ensure an even greater operating range.
