Aquila 46

For this second collaboration with yacht-builders Aquila (after the Aquila 42), VPLP Design allowed performance, spaciousness and comfort to guide and inform architectural choices. Exhaustive studies allowed us to refine the shape of the hulls to reduce drag and resistance, and thus increase efficiency and guarantee stability in a variety of sea states.

Foils are available as an option to improve efficiency, reduce fuel consumption and increase cruising range. They also contribute to attenuating pitching. One of the major features of the Aquila 46, already present on other models in the range, is the huge owner’s cabin forward. It occupies the entire breadth of the boat and has wide hull windows.
