VPLP Design has worked, in collaboration with Patrick Le Qu\u00e9ment as design consultant, on four models: Excess 11, Excess 12, Excess 14 and Excess 15. Stepping the mast on the deck allows for an optimal deck layout. As an optional extra, owners can choose a Pulse Line rig with a taller mast and, as a result, a larger sail plan.
