We\u2019ve really taken foiling to another level.\u201d Foils, rudders and centreboard have clearly benefited from the latest developments in the America\u2019s Cup, and are the result of VPLP\u2019s collaboration with Team Artemis since 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Three other maxi trimarans designed by VPLP design \u2013\u00a0Spindrift,\u00a0Idec,\u00a0Sodebo\u00a0\u2013 are also preparing for their forthcoming excursions around the globe, their home port being La Trinit\u00e9-sur-Mer.\u00a0Spindrift\u00a0and\u00a0Idec\u00a0will soon be standing by for a second attempt at the Troph\u00e9e Jules Verne; while Thomas Coville is getting ready to follow the same route as he tries once again to beat the record set by Francis Joyon. Over recent months VPLP Design has been assisting these three teams upgrade their multihulls, in particular their floats and appendages.
