Sun Fast 30 One Design

The Class 30 sailboat, a project launched by the UNCL, now the racing pole of the Yacht Club de France, the RORC in the United Kingdom and the Storm Trysail Club in the United States, to revitalize access to ocean racing, will finally be built by the Jeanneau yard.

Paragon

Paragon illustrates VPLP Design’s quest for excellence. This fast 85’ (26 m) monohull was conceived like a flawless diamond, shaped for its visual perfection and technical performance. This project opens the door to a new era of vessels inspired by maxi sailing boats and foilers, both inshore and offshore. 

Réalités

Réalité is an Ocean Fifty built in the same moulds as Planet Warrior, the latter launched in 2020 and winner of the 2022 Route du Rhum in the livery of Koesio.

Malizia 3

Malizia-Sea-Explorer, Boris Hermann’s new IMOCA, was designed for both the 2023 Ocean Race and the 2024 Vendée Globe.

Clak40

In late 2020, in collaboration with the Multiplast yard, VPLP ventured into the Class40 universe for the very first time. “We had been interested in this class for quite a while,” says Vincent Lauriot-Prévost, “but hadn’t quite found a suitable opening. This all changed when we saw the scows enter the fray and display significantly better performances than the previous boats. It was then that we said to ourselves that it was the right moment.”

Electric racing powerboat

VPLP entered into a very innovative collaboration with the SailGP circuit in 2020. The aim of the project was to study and assess the architecture, design and technical solutions for producing an electric racing boat with full foiling capacity to create a fleet of one-design racing boats.

Maxi Banque Populaire XI

For the design of Maxi Banque Populaire XI, launched in April 2021, VPLP drew inspiration from Banque Populaire IX and in particular her platform, which was a veritable reference for the project.

Koesio

Launched in 2020 for Fabrice Cahierc and subsequently picked up by Erwan Le Roux, the Ocean Fifty class (formerly the Multi50 class) generated a lot of preliminary work for the firm because she was the first multihull structure to be designed entirely by VPLP.
